Learn to write your own business plan from one of the most experienced writers in the industry.
Every successful business starts with a good plan. All investors require a business plan and nearly all businesses are required to provide a plan for permitting, zoning and other legal reasons. Paying a professional to write your plan can easily cost anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000. If you're a serial entrepreneur or have a long term business, the skills you will aquire by attending this workshop will save you thousands of dollars, time and again.
Starting a plan on your own can be intimidating. Using YouTube or other online classes don't allow for real interaction and individual feedback, leaving you to feel unguided and unsupported through the process.
Rachel Johnson, founder of Boost Business Plans, is a Las Vegas local who knows exactly what investors want to see in a business plan. She has written hundreds of plans covering nearly every major industry. In this unique workshop, she will spend time breaking down each section and explain them in detail.
At the end of this workshop, you will confidently be able write your own business plan, section by section, for your invention, new or existing business.

Who can attend?
Anyone who is interested in learning how to write a business plan. Everyone is welcome.
Why shouldn't I just use an online course?
Online courses are generically created for masses of people and industries. They don't allow for one on one time with an experienced professional. Rachel will take the time to answer your questions both during the class and will be available for a personal phone call, included in the workshop package.
Can I bring a laptop? Will there be secure Wi-Fi?
Absolutely, and yes.
What does the follow up phone call support include?
Rachel is a professionally paid business plan writer. She spends time on the phone with her clients on each project she writes. Once you go home to begin or continue work on your business plan, you may find you have a question or concern that you would like to discuss with her. Included in the cost of your workshop is a 30 minute phone call with Rachel to discuss any aspect of your plan you wish.
Will anything be provided?
Boost Business Plans is working with Work In Progress to make this workshop possible. The facility offers clean private bathrooms, free water, free coffee, free snacks and secure Wi-Fi in a safe modern building, located in the heart of the downtown arts district.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes. You're welcome to bring any food you'd like. There will also be a break, so you will be able to grab food in the area. Work In Progress is only two blocks from the Container Park where there are many delicious fast casual options.
